Went off lobsters when I saw just how intelligent they are- I haven’t turned into one of these anti- lobster eaters or anything but would like to see good sustainable harvesting increased - prices are usually mad but there are times of year you can get them at a reasonably decent luxury treat price.

Some restaurants and home cooks can destroy them through stupid cooking techniques which is terrible waste of a lobsters life

Here ya go, then: first time - as a late middle-aged perfectly straight man - wearing a skirt in public. Not a kilt, a proper skirt. My regular social circle is heavily populated with barefoot men, hairy women and other "deviants" from the norm, and non-trans, non-drag "alternative" styles of dressing are becoming increasingly common.

I started a waistcoat tailoring project earlier in the year that went off the rails a bit and ended up as a made-for-dancing skirt instead. Took it for a couple of test runs in the safety of two busy artsy events and didn't particularly stand out; then went to what should have been another busy one last Saturday and found it (poorly) attended by your regular public and none of "my crowd".

But if that's the reason I had three women fighting over who got to have the last dance with me, I might have to start wearing one to the supermarket aswell. :-p
