I currently have a gsm-sc card and would like to swap for GSM/WiFi card. Is it as simple as swap and go or would there be more to it (bar setting up WiFi of course)

Yes, it plugs onto the same port the GSM-SC would have been on, so simple swap.
Just make sure software on panel is version 4 or higher.
Down power the system, battery and mains before taking off and fitting new communicator
