    I remember dat very well, it was ground zero in Ireland for de pandemic dat Joe didn’t think was possible and just as Galway was identified as a black spot he descended on it and promoted a closed in gathering. It too was the first place he held a Funny Friday after de Pandemic as if they hadn’t punishment enough de last two years or so.

    Funny,

    Ronan McGreevy and the Times usually tell us everyone in Ireland was “British” like our masters back then, yet now they regard ‘Hamilton Brown’, an establishment ascendant as “Irish”.


    Wonder is there any chance, Mr McGreevy could investigate links to Irish sent as slaves to the Americas by any chance?

    Some amount of BS being spouted by the government about the "new" model of the TV license funding going forward, not least saying it's not a tax.

    It's the exact same tax, same amount, same payment method, now with additional government funding provided RTE reach targets.

    This is the topic that Liveline should be discussing and covering as it's supposed to be decided by public interest. Instead Joe will probably continue to bore us to death about Eamonn Casey.

    Fat Joe needs the status quo at least to continue to keep funding his fat cheque.

    Joe needs to wind his neck in about Eamon Casey svd the crypt at this stage. Agree or disagree he’s there and will be unless there is a process kicked off to reinter the body elsewhere.

    Going on like he did yesterday along the lines of “he could be removed this afternoon if they wsnted” isn’t true. You’d need a few days the arrangements etc anyway but you’d expect there’s a process around this anyway that needs to be followed. I wonder would he be so accepting if Kev came down yesterday during the show and told him he needn’t come back today. That could have been achieved yesterday too but you can bet Joe would be all about the process then!

    Hope somebody rings the show to warn about a scam involving a man impersonating a journalist/broadcaster ripping off the taxpayer to the tune of €350,000 a year. The gardaí should get involved.
