Switch joy cons

my son let his beloved Nintendo switch fall today on a hard tiled floor.
Afte the fall, the joy con’s are not working good. The buttons works but the little joy pad things (circled below) are only working in certain directions. Left one only goes left and up etc.
is this repairable?
any advice welcome.

Hi,
Computer repair shops may be able to repair.
The sticks are a pretty simple thing to replace, so try them.
Alternatively, buy a set yourself and replace it.
Another option is to go and buy two more Joycons new.
Or you could look on Adverts for a set, but beware people moving on broken or malfunctioning joycons there.

Was about to say ... the popularity of the Switch means there are loads of good quality 3rd party options out there for controllers.
