Cant see the thread lasting but anyway. Saw that video, can't see it being true, don't believe the place is near ready for 150 people, and sure the concrete bollards are still across the entrance. Will need work along the perimeter for security camera's etc before anyone is moved in, imo.

Whatever your views, the State has to ensure law and order. And it appears to have failed this week.

If they move the asylum seekers elsewhere, they just need to make sure to move the money that would have been allocated to Coolock with them. Leave the people of Coolock to live with their burned out and vandalized buildings etc. Back of the queue for further funding.

Agreed. Too many young guys with no prospects, no facilities and no opportunities will eventually find something to get angry about and will cause trouble.
