Had a great chance of a try at the end there but at least they got the 3. Good half from Ireland overall deserve the lead

massive games so far from Lowe, Osborne, Doris, McCarthy, Henshaw, Keheller

I thought same but on replay you can see the linesman couldn’t have been in a better position and didn’t even look to put flag up.

What a tackle by Du Toit

Ireland playing savage stuff & what a game

Cannot understand how that's allowed, he's practically standing behind the Irish scrum.

Osborne is so bloody impressive today

Murray and the back 3 are comfortably outplaying their counterparts

Osborne, Joe, Doris, Ryan and Kelleher have been excellent.

Don't think I've ever seen so much blood in a first half.

Lots of people righting wrongs from last week - McCarthy far more effective ball in hand. Closest we've seen to his game v France.

Osbourne growing into his role well (the one silly penalty aside)

Scrum has gone backwards from last week though - not getting the nudge we did last weekend

Ireland have to score first. If they do, little bit of panic might set in for South Africa leading to mistakes.

SA are well in this if they can keep composure with their scrum dominance.

Ireland to continue to going to air as getting a lot of change

Thought Pollard was lucky to not get a yellow card for that offside penalty during that last phase of the half. Extremely cynical.

Genuinely convinced the difference in physicality from us this week is down to last week being at altitude.

furlong needs to be subbed. He doesn’t look good at all.

Does Faf have a bet on Ireland..

  • Administrators Posts: 56,228 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

furlong literally nearly fell over just running back. He needs an HIA.

Faf needs to calm down a bit - no need for that grubber.

Soft enough in midfield from Doris, Nash and Furlong on the initial break

Did he get a head in the face? Didn't look good.

James Ryan stole two Bok lineouts in a row

    Need to capitalise on that.

Okay, let's stop kicking the ball to Sacha

hope Ireland can catch a pause. Seem to have a bad habit of compounding unenforced errors

Cant believe Marx was only 29

I bet the English ref keeps giving SA penalties now. Guaranteed.

Pierce is begging Dickson to give us a card

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,972 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Ok.

They're giving a yellow for that. But there have been at least half a dozen of the exact same infringements from both side that haven't been penalised.

I think Doris is the one who puts the shoulder on Marx's knee.

    Right decision I think.

Yellow card for that? **** out of here

Never seen a yellow for this in my life

  • Administrators Posts: 56,228 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

I’m confused. If anyone deserved a yellow there it was obviously Ryan.
