    Ugh

A thing isn't what it says it is.

A thing is what it does.

"It had the power to heal."

Plugged into a dodgy amp, it could do more than that.

    "Power to heal"

I'm not a music man, granted, but I wouldn't know a song of his off the top of me head

Calm down with de espousing of dis cultural icon as some sort of all encompassing secular saint or something…

Where did they drag theses clowns up from?????

An oul' guitar "has the power to heal", is a "secular relic" and is on a par with The Book of Kells and The Ardagh Chalice??? Fcuk right off!

Also, this Michael Collins museum guy is a complete huckster. I've been to his so called "museum"

A class 1 relic. They now want Cork Coco to buy it. The Coco could make the Cork Taxpayer's money back charging 50 euro notes for each rub.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,687 ✭✭✭✭LambshankRedemption

I love Rory Gallagher and used to play a Fender Stratocaster myself.

But that power to heal bollix. Give me a break.

The only thing Id be in favour of is the Hard Rock Cafe buying it.

We need to get Dave Fanning on to tell us that Rory Gallagher was in fact a pretty average guitarist

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,840 ✭✭✭Archduke Franz Ferdinand

If the State couldn't be bothered buying Lissadell House with it's connections with Constancs Markievicz and WB Yeats, why would they buy an electric guitar?
