PIR Insulation boards - which way up.

I layed insulation boards yesterday and this morning. By this evening, any that were placed advertising side down the foil was starting to bubble and detach from the insulation, especially in the high traffic areas.

Is there a correct way up to place the insulation boards?

The boards are Mannox.

I'd raise it with the supplier first then escalate it to Mannox's area rep or technical support email address after that.

Thanks for the advice. One of them was literally down less than 12 hours. I've layed some spare on top to save the layed sheets.

Any photos of the delamination?

They are manufactured like a sandwich so there is a chance that one side of the foil just didn't adhere properly.

I'll be laying a slip membrane so hopefully not an issue. I have no time to get suppliers/manufacturers involved.

I know what you mean - t could be a few days before they respond. In that case I'd guess that it's not an issue, but I'd still raise it with the manuf in case there is a material defect.
