Netflix Recommendations Thread 3.0

I must have been in a real bad mood on Friday night when I watched this. I didn't laugh once. It had no action. You could sum up the plot in five sentences. When I finished it, I was wondering what kind of movie it was trying to be.

Watched first episode of Eric, it's clearly a well made show but I really don't want to keep watching if it's going to depict child abuse and/or death. Could someone let me know with spoilers if that's the case or even if it's a happy ending ultimately. Not in the right headspace to watch something like that right now

I really enjoyed Under Paris.

Hit Man is not a good movie.

It is really awful...cliche upon cliche...bad acting..dodgy CGI... thoroughly enjoyed it! The last 25 minutes is bonkers.

Some of the other suggested titles are brilliant!

I expect sequels!

Prime and Netflix have good stuff but as mentioned above the UI is muck.

Thumbs up and thumbs down have no affect on my profile, tagging stuff I’m not interested in has no affect either. And on Prime, the thumbs up and down show for every episode even when I’ve already selected it. I thought it was to rate each episode but clicking up just unlikes a show.

There will never be any improvements though because only a massive loss of subscribers citing the UI as the reason would be the only way it would change and that won’t happen.

The creator mentioned Misfits in the Empire interview. I don’t remember exactly what he said but something like it is one of the inspirations and a comparison with MISFITS was inevitable because it is regular British people with powers but MISFITS is more of a comedy, while this is a serious superhero show.

I watched the first episode of SUPACELL.

It is really good.

There are a few characters (Tazor and his gang, and other “yutes”) that I couldn’t understand at all because of the accents and slang.

Subtitles kept appearing randomly even though the option was OFF. I would go to English SDH and back to OFF and they’d stop showing however where ever a song was playing in the background they’d turn back on. Captions were also appearing whenever there was a sign.
