People get depressed by others thinking that they are depressed.

This is way too much of a ramble. It’s not the misery slot on the Late Late where you have a captive audience doing feck all else on a Friday night. People working have disengaged by now.

I never bought a PSP myself nor a Gamebuoy, I suppose I missed out a bit in life.

It’s a soft/hard sell for the Govt/opposition push for euthanasia after all RTE has to repay the extra tens of millions they’re getting

I’m afraid what starts off as very tightly regulated and only in exceptional circumstances soon falls to progressive zealotry (see Canada)

PS in no way am I slagging the caller or her and her husbands circumstance

A thing isn't what it says it is.

A thing is what it does.

KT this whole illness story isnt relevent. Get to the point which seems to be a conversation about assisted dying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,492 ✭✭✭tohaltuwi

she is entirely right about neurologists, patients and families actually get to know more about their illness than the medics

I figure at about 2.30pm we will be told she has an issue with what the bishop said about suicide and she could have cut to the chase 20 minutes ago.

I’m going to look up that neurologist. I would be prepared to commute for treatment. SVUH keep losing records, disgracefully, and I have a complaint in with the Ombudsman

I hope Siobhan was more on point as a teacher, otherwise the kids would have taken 5 years to get through the years curriculum.

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators Posts: 10,885 Mod ✭✭✭✭squonk

Siobhan is yet another teacher feeling sorry for herself. I bet she was a primary teacher.

if you are not directly affected by a neurological condition you have no idea at the incredible lack and quality of neurology service in this country. It is one of our national disgraces. I’m glad this woman has brought the topic up.

The country graves always have wide berths for additional burials down the line, in Doubalin you pretty much just get a 3 berth per plot, the coffins stacked like containers on a ship.

I’d say there’s a swathe of 60 year old women out there John ploughed so to speak.
