Fill hole in external insulation wrap

I replaced the number plaque for our house and now I'm left with a hole in the insulation wrap, about the size of a €2 coin :/ didn't bother to measure the plaque to ensure it would cover or use the same holes, but anyway, here we are.

Any ideas on filling it? I was thinking some expanding foam, it wouldn't take much, and then some grey filler to take the look off it? I think whatever I do it's going to look poxy to be honest. They used huge plastic plugs, a small red rawl plug would've done the job considering the weight it's holding is feck all.

cut a piece of wood or strong cardboard the same width as the mortar joint and use it as a straight edge for the brick then use some mortar dye to colour the mortar for the brick section when that is dry fill in the grey joint section

The mesh will probably be enough to hold some grout, I reckon if you just grout it to match the existing grout you wont notice it unless you look. I wouldnt bother trying to match the brick colour, "real" bricks have chips etc, a bad dye job will draw more attention that just a chip and grout.

Thanks both for the comments. Didn't think of the brick dye but yeah, with its size I think a little grout will do the job. I'll hopefully be able to blend it in
