Things to do in Fuengirola

Hello, myself, my wife and our 12 year old son will be spending a week in fuengirola for the first week of July.

Any tips and do's and donts?

We plan in visiting Gibraltar on one of the days but the itinerary is fairly blank apart from that.

Ideas and tips would be gratefully appreciated

I'd actually advise to give Gibraltar a miss, it's not really up to much unless being assaulted by monkeys on a cliff is your thing.

Here are some destinations which you'll enjoy:

If you're hiring a car (or taking a bus) then consider going to Marbella and getting the Fly Blue ferry to Puerto Banus and back.

Check reviews for Selwo Park and see if it's something that you want to do:

Again, if you have a car… Caminito del Rey is very well worth the trip.

The city center and waterfront in Málaga are very nice. They have a football team too of your son has any interest in going to a game.

Slightly further afield, but still very manageable without a car, are Cordoba, Granada and Sevilla.

Is there anything of interest in those places that can't be done in Fuengirola and its surronds
