Considering the importance of the Jewish/Israeli lobby, they are probably right.

The Republican's are ready to go all in ASAP in obliterating Gaza so wouldn't be hard for the Israeli's to support MAGA to finish the job.

But the Palestinians have done just that

How many Palestinians refugees and workers are hired to work in these shiny and shallow Arab cities totally not built on slave labour?

Qatar alone spends more on mosque building across Europe than they given in aid to Palestinians

Saudis are busy building a city for millions of people just a few hundred miles down road, will they house any Palestinians here? Will they my ass

And to think of we had people on this thread page after page criticising Biden and drooling at thought of Trump coming in

Oh are they in for a shock

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,167 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

Thats was always a case of voting to leave the frying pan and move to the actively erupting volcano.

Fantastic comedy but highly unlikely anyone would actually be that stupid.

. Following up on my post no 37117.,Michael Martin was on Primetime last night and was asked a specific question which was “ Ireland has now recognised Palastine as a state so who will you be dealing/ negotiating with now - especially re Gaza- when you want to do business with it . Or to discuss carrying out social/cultural project with it . Or when it comes to to the restructuring the country through bilateral aid , etc. - OR WORDS TO THAT EFFECT

Remember that the legitimately elected gov in Gaza is Hamas. And it more than likely will be returned even stronger in the next election - whenever that will be

Martin totally avoided answering the question. He took the ‘ tourist route’ with a long winded answer and y the time he was finished the presenter either forgot what question he was asked or he read the body language - do’nt go there mister- or by pre arrangement that he was allowed to ask the question and just accept the answer given.

Some people may not know it but most presentations on TV are heavily controlled re what questions are allowed/ what can de shown , etc, etc, etc.

People who genuinely think Trump is better for world peace than Biden have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.

Biden is weak and can't stand up to the US arms lobby or the pro Israel lobby in the US.

Trump is an actual monster, who would actively promote the idea of a 'Final Solution' in Gaza (removing every last Palestinian either on a truck, or in a body bag)

Its a **** choice between two bad candidates, but one of them is an actual psychopathic narcissistic rapist, and the other is a weak cucked old man who is too afraid of losing support to stand up for what is right

(The polls seem to support a stronger stance against Israel, but it's not the Polls that Biden is worried about, it's the donors and the media backlash and the military industrial complex that could turn on him if he turns off that tap of billions in military aid to Israel.)

    Chomsky(2017) on the Republican party

"Has there ever been an organisation in human history that is dedicated, with such commitment, to the destruction of organised human life on Earth?"

You think the people of Gaza care about Trump?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,519 ✭✭✭✭hotmail.com

Why are you talking as if Biden isn't in office anymore. He's in office for at least another 8 months!

The attempt to turn this into a Trump thread by the Trump fanatics is beyond preposterous.

What you're describing as Trump's Final Solution idea. It's happening now!! Since last October. Wake up.

People talking as if Trump has never been in office. He's an imbecile and annoying if you're American, but those were four of the calmest years in geopolitics in decades.

Reuters: More conservatively, if we consider these five wars as well as other military operations listed above, the presidents who have not started a new war or been involved in escalating or starting a new military operation would include Trump (if we consider action in Syria an extension to the Obama administration’s presence), Carter and Ford.

Considering how Biden's term has gone, I think the entire world should be thankful that the US had a president who was actually willing to go over and meet and placate Kim Jong Un after they tested a thermonuclear bomb. And people actually attacked Trump for how he handled that. And people will attack me now and still try to claim Biden is better for world peace as the world order falls apart under him.

Oh please Trump be using B2 bombers to carpet bomb the place and demand the whole of the Mediterranean coast a mile deep to be handed over (clear of Palestinian people) to his Trump crime family for his Trump^TM World Resort, he already talked about what great real estate it could be

He sure as hell won’t spend billions on “loosers” and “rapists and murderers” nor would he spent hundreds of millions on piers and other infrastructure and air drops

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,161 ✭✭✭zerosquared

Ah here we go, one of the mad “Trump would be good for Palestinians” theorists

You couldn’t make this **** up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,426 ✭✭✭sock.rocker*

I don't think he'd be good, but I can't see how he could be much worse. Will there even be anything left to destroy next January. People are acting as if what is happening today is irrelevant because of what might happen in the future.

"Oh please Trump be using B2 bombers to carpet bomb the place and demand the whole of the Mediterranean coast a mile deep to be handed over clear of people to his Trump crime family for his Trump^TM World Resort"

These are the rants of a deranged lunatic. He was already president and didn't do these things. You sound completely and utterly unhinged.

Everything could be worse under Trump

Hell he was the one to have started on the Saudi Israeli detente which triggered HAMAS and their Iranian dog leash holders to carry out 7th or October

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,542 ✭✭✭combat14

its not ideal but unfortunately thats where the hamas terrorists with the kidnapped hostages are located

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 14,989 ✭✭✭✭Igotadose

Surely you can't be serious. He could be infinitely worse for Palestinians. He approved Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel, which you know helped precipitate this. Biden's held back arms, briefly. Trump would never ever NEVER do that.

You think he'd have authorized the military to build a pier? Think again.

The trumplodytes on this thread are depressing. Want to give Palestine a glimmer of a blink of a chance? Vote Biden 2024.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,161 ✭✭✭zerosquared

Yep he accused me of “ranting like a lunatic” but that’s precisely what Trump does every day and as president has a long history of lunatic actions up to and including an insurrection

If anything my imagination is not capable of imagining how much worse Trump be for Palestinians

This week he was busy going on about him building a Great Reich ffs, he probably send Jarred (a Jew) to oversee construction of “camps” modelled after what they built near southern border

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,589 ✭✭✭✭ted1

and there’s the victim card again .

as I said previously the word Antisemitism has lost all meaning as people hide behind it as an excuse to do whatever da fuq they want to, including Genocide.
my issue is with the government, the army and their actions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,426 ✭✭✭sock.rocker*

Pretty sad that you think Palestinians only have "a glimmer of a blink of a chance" of surviving this under Netanyahu and Biden yet spend your free time in here defending their actions.

Trump thread rubbish. Nothing to do with Gaza.

Igotadose, you forgot to answer my question yesterday. Do you approve of Israel counting every adult male in Palestine as a member of Hamas?

Is that what they do? Have you proof? I've not seen any details on how any of the casualties are counted, either by Israel, or by Hamas. Hamas seems incapable of counting terrorist in the casualties, why do you think that is?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 14,989 ✭✭✭✭Igotadose

The word antisemitism has meaning, except to those that would deny it, who usually want to eradicate the Jews. But do keep banging on about it, to erase any doubt about your position.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,589 ✭✭✭✭ted1

it’s has no meaning , it’s been overly diluted.
you just accused someone of antisemitism because they have dyslexia, I rest my case.

Been a Jew doesn’t make you Semitic, and I have never mentioned religion.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,161 ✭✭✭zerosquared

Trump becoming president as some on this thread are drooling and cheering for would be the end of Palestine and no amount of symbolic gestures from our government could rectify that Nakbha

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 14,989 ✭✭✭✭Igotadose

Funny, dyslexia yet consistently misspells the same word. Odd symptoms; glories in the grief they get about it, too. Sad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,426 ✭✭✭sock.rocker*

69% of deaths are women and children and Israel says a third of deaths are Hamas.

Do you think Israel viewing every adult male as a member of Hamas could be a reason for why there are so many deaths?

Igotadose, which is worse? Misspelling Israel as Isreal or burning displaced children in their tents? You show a lot more concern for the former than the latter on here.
