Same feeling. Maybe some sympathy votes for being back after a 30 year absence?

Upcoming gigs and events: The Pillowman, Rhiannon Giddens, New Purple Celebration, Foil Arms and Hog, Nova Twins, Tanita Tikaram, David Byrne

I don't watch Eurovision much anymore, largely because it's turned into a circus, it's supposed to the Eurovision SONG contest. I flicked in and out of the first semi-final, I haven't heard Ireland's song bar the snippet at the time of voting. I haven't heard the Croatian entry which is the favourite in the betting.

Anyway, I'm going to tell you who the winner will be tonight from what I've heard.

No doubt the crowd noise was suppressed there when she came on.

You can clearly hear the audience on the YouTube stream anyway. Must not be much fun as an artist.

Israel's entry is decent, but they shouldn't be in the competition.

Israel on now. Not a boo to be heard.

Much more audible crowd during the performance than any other so far - not sure if it is good, bad or a bit of both.

Over-fake crowd reaction really highlights it all…

Just need the Irish contingent to start an oul "olé olé olé" to drown her out.

    Thats the winner right there

Just focusing on the song I find it dull.

Putting the genocide to one side, it is a fairly bland and forgettable song, good singer though.

Yeah the audience sound is off on this...hearing a lot of whistles and some boos.

The song is what it is, it sounds like a song that needed multiple rewrites before being allowed in....if not Israel very mid table.

Televote likely to be huge based on the Italy semi final scoring snafu

The sound from the arena is different during Israel's performance, some sort of control of the sound being applied by EBU
