Buying a monitor

Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before. I haven't found a thread yet asking the question.

When buying a monitor(s), which site would you recommend buying from? I was going to buy a monitor on Amazon.co.uk, but at checkout, an additional 255 euros was added for import tax.

I'm an Xbox Series X user, mainly playing First-Person Shooter games, but I also want the monitor to double as a work monitor (I'm a MacBook user). Any recommendations on where to buy and if you have any monitors that you would recommend would be a bonus.

    Thanks.

You can get a sense of what you're looking for here:

    tftcentral.co.uk

And then you can get a sense of what's available in the market over here:

    monitors @geizhals.eu

And before you ask, no; I don't know how to switch the language to EN… :/
