I think we called them corners but not sure anymore because when i see when this question coming up on internet, i dont ever see corners as the answer

Proper order. The crust is on every slice. The heel is at the ends of the pan.

The heel. Unless it's the end of a batch type loaf, then it's the batch heel, unless it's a heel heel (heels are meh but batch heels are magic)

The heel for the ends when it was a pan or loaf shape. The crust if it was a vienna roll or a cob.
We sometimes had turnovers but I don't remember a name for the end slices on those.

And to confuse matters even more, do you say the sliced pan, or the sliced loaf? Our family here always said sliced pan, my UK family says sliced loaf.
