    Cracker by Foden.

Madrid need to make a sub or 2. Look totally out of it atm

City with much more energy than Real n this second half, Real looking leggy. They got Foden free a few times, and eventually he made them pay, he's been more involved since the break in fairness.

    Even better than Fodens

Another lovely goal begrudgingly by City. Things are definitely going their way.

Real are a shadow of their first half selves. Really poor defending.

Two great strikes in short order. Hard to see Madrid having much hope if they go to Manchester needing a win.

trossard makes it 2-2 for arsenal

Arsenal could really do with one more to make life a little easier in Munich. Think they're the only hope of stopping this from being a procession for City - can't see any of the sides on the other side of the draw having a hope against City in a final.

I don't know if you can say that, and I'm no fan of Real. They're 2 exceptional strikes. Another day and they could have ended up in row z. Everything is coming up roses for City at the moment.

Fuk I didn't think we would see better than Foden's goal tonight.

    wish mcmanaman would STFU

A sweet equaliser by Valverde. Some amazing goals tonight. I have to check the result of the women's game now, Ireland lost 2-0. Shocking that a quality match like this plays second fiddle to that other stuff.

The sound is definitely a second behind the picture on RTE News.

lol poor old RTE…..they shaft the Champions League and the game turns out to be a classic!

Bellingham is such an unlikeable player. Diving more than Tom Daly.

It shouldn't be a surprise that the national broadcaster shows the national team playing a competitive international match. Of course they did, as they absolutely should.

And they're still showing the CL match on another free-to-air channel, and on their streaming service. I don't really understand the complaint…?

Credit the ref he's not fell for any antics.

You know they are not comparable, but you've obviously got your mind made up on this.

i'm watching on TNT so dont really care. but granted, they are different sports

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,826 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

It's their shoddy coverage, on a station with a poorer picture, delayed sound and no analysis.

If there was a Irish men's tiddlywinks(though you can already see it in other sports) team getting TV coverage and playing in big stadiums, you can be sure the women would automatically think they deserve parity regardless of TV interest, revenue generated, attendances, standard, etc.
