Did this drink exist or is it psychosis?

I remember superquinn/quinnsworth having this green fizzy drink, maybe it was own brand - can't remember the exact taste, can sort of looked like mountain dew.

For certain it was in the Lucan shop, they even had a vending machine of it as you walked into the main part of the shopping centre.

Was around in the late 90s/early 2000's, I swore it existed but I can't find anything online or remember any part of the name and I'm starting to think I've lost the lot/

Dunnes had their own version of 7UP called ‘Fizz Up’ wasn’t green though and was discontinued due to a colour change if left in direct sunlight for too long.

Don’t remember any of the Quinns having their own drinks like that.

May have well been the walk into dunnes in the lucan shopping centre with the vending machine of it, bottle graphic doesn't look right but it may not be on the internet at all

There was a banana lemonade on the go one time, either Mulrines or McDaids. Looked like bottled plutonium.

I recently found a can called Fizzup I thought it was some random brand until I saw where it was made it was made for Dunnes Dublin 8

by the looks of it looks 2000s or late 1990s

Yes they sure did it was manufactured by cott beverages in the UK from concentrate imported from the USA. Cans where manufactured in West Yorkshire and the 2 litre was bottled in Kegworth .2 ltrs where bottled here for a while by united beverages finches keeper road (old savage smyth factory) it was a similar concentrate as Sainsbury’s in the UK. At one point it outsold coke 2 to 1 but as people got more money in the late 90s and favored coke it got discontinued. They also had fizz up orange which tasted similar to Fanta and fizz up lemon and lime which was finches lemon and lime with a different lable. Bit of useless history for you 😃

It wasn’t Canada Dry by any chance? I know the drink isn’t green, but the can was pretty unmistakable, was around the time period, can’t get it anywhere now:

I loved Canada Dry as a kid.

Anyone else recall a very short-lived fizzy drink in a can called Rio? Think it was early to mid 1980s.

There was also an orange fizzy drink back in the 1970s called Mirinda, before my time. My OH remembers it well.

I remember this from about 30 years ago. I thought it actually tasted okay. I remember the weird tv ad for it at the time showing an old guy getting up from a wheelchair shouting “I’m young!!” after he took a sip of it.

was also this one ! both on sale in old quinsowrths that i recall in the late 80s to early 90s ! and available in SUPERCAN too before 500ml bottlkes were a thing
