Dating a teetotaler while being a drinker

    I have a friend who has the hots for a girl on Tinder he's been dating for a month. She told him that she was close to a teetotaler. She'll have a drink or two but only in social situations and doesn't like alcohol in general. On the other hand, he is the total opposite. He drinks probably five or six times a week and takes yokes/coke the odd times but he's actually a nice person while under the influence and doesn't engage in antisocial behavior.

    I was thinking how a relationship like this probably won't last. In my experience, people who abstain from alcohol and drugs have a very low tolerance for those that use them. They don't even like being around someone who is drunk/high never mind dating them. I feel like it's one of those hard dealbreakers in a relationship like where one partner wants kids and the other doesn't.
