IE6 freezes my Keyboard

When I open a IE window, the keyboard 7 out of 10 times freezes. I have to pull out the connection(ps/2) and put it back in and then everything fine until i other other ie window and the keyboard might freez again. Why is this happening? Im running Xp Pro SP1. Mainboard is Abit IC7-G

If IE is the only thing doing it then it ain't hardware..

Have you pressed ctrl-shift-esc to see what is running in the background ?
