Over 7 today. Best yet even though it's been a bit hazy and overcast.

Seems to work better with the shading from the trees though.

Less of a dip during shading period.

    Today's yield: 5.8 kWh from 8kW E/W split.

Just into my second month of the system now, December yield was 68 kWh, January has been 137 kW.

The difference in efficiency for south facing panels vs E/W split is massive this time of year, I'm intrigued to see how it fares out into spring and summer. ( I knew this would be the case anyway, but its good to have hard data to compare)

Did you give ESBN a shout? That's a good bit out of spec.

you'll probably do 50kwh a sunny day in may/june/july with that amount of panels with east west

Nah, it fixed itself about half 6... Maybe they wanted all the inverters offline

I got 11kw today from a similar setup, slightly more west facing than east (165 azimuth), but at a 45 deg pitch.

Max I got was 50kwh on a day in May last year, 6150kwh for the year.

Pretty good guess mick. I have 6.5Kwp and my record is 41Kwh. Exactly E/W. So extrapolating out to 8.0kwp, that would yield 50.4Kwh (assuming all things equal etc) My average daily yield for my 6.5Kwp in May, June and July last year was 25.8Kwh, 27.2Kwh and 22.1Kwh respectively,

For those people interested, I ran the numbers and my south panels on the shed are 70% more efficient in December than the equivalent kwp on the E/W split. The east/west splits really don't fare well in Nov, Dec & Jan. But once we're into Feb they start to pick up quickly.

Still a nice solid 6.4Kwhr off the 6.5Kwp E/W today here in South Dublin city. My app estimate was for 5.6Kwh, but it's the best of the year so far. Looks like tomorrow is ok'ish, and then another decent enough one forecasted for Thurs.

I also have 8kW split evenly over East/West. This time of the year is very poor for me, they are at a low angle too.

It does get much better. December was my worst month last year with only 92kWh but did 1,083kWh in May.

Just over 53kWh was my best day last year.

Just out of interest. I have a new set up. 4kwp system. South east facing in south Dublin city. What should I expect roughly in summer months?

Have a look in the monthly output thread for folks with similar system and location. They will be loads of posts in the next few days.

PVGIS is also good for estimates
