Thermostatic T bar shower

    Hi all

    we are in the process of getting a thermostatic T bar shower fitted and plumber has ran 2 half inch pipes from combi boiler to shower.

    the pipes are currently in between plaster board and block wall.

    how can he connect these too the t bar shower ? Two elbows looking out true board and tile or does he need too mount brackets or back plate too the block wall so he can screw the parts which came with shower into them ??

    Is you combi boiler connected to mains water supply or is it pumped from the cold water tank in the attic?

    Great. Reason I asked is some plumbers cut corners and connect combi to the mains. If this was the case then you couldn't install a thermostatic shower. Without equal pressure it couldn't function properly and the warranty would be void

    The bar mixer doesn't need much support as such. Two small holes through the tiles for the pipes. Two screws on the hot & cold side go into the tile. There is a small bracket at the top of the shower and again two screws into the tile is all that's needed. Six screws is a lot & gives great support. As an example I have only six screws holding an 83" tv on the wall in the sitting room.
