Think we do this every year, anyway Six songs in contention:

    JyellowL - Judas

Erica Cody - Love Me Like I Do

    Ailsha - Go Tobann

    Bambie Thug - Doomsday Blue

Isabella Kearney - Let Me Be The Fire

Next in Line - Love Like Us

Would go with either Bambie Thug or Ailsha, but it will probably be something bland like Next in Line or Erica Cody

Thx for reminder - might actually look in to see the visuals. As actual songs go, either the below stand out.

Erica Cody - Love Me Like I Do

Isabella Kearney - Let Me Be The Fire

    Team Bambie Thug here...

Listened to them all yesterday and its the only one still stuck in my head.

Is Linda Martin involved tonight? if so we're sending the safe bet of the boy band or Erica, and will finish 14th in our semi-final.

Send Bambie Thug and I'd put my house on us making it to the final.

Linda martin isnt involved, theyve also upgraded/increased the size of the stage, so no longer in a broom cupboard, more like a large walk in wardrobe now.

Also no audience bleachers, just small tables and chairs like the NYE late late show set up.

on the very few occasions I watched before, the sound was always terrible...

    I hope its better tonight!

And note re stacking the deck for Erica .. she is last on .. so remembered most. Bambie on 2nd, early on in night.

Erica track pretty much is The Weeknd

Isn't the winner not pretty much predetermined every year? That what it feels like to me anyway. As soon as we stop trying to pick a song that we think is eurovisiony we will start to do better.

Everyone make sure to vote for Ailsha or Bambie Thug! Or anyone really, except Erica. It’s clear that RTÉ are trying to push her, but her song just isn’t good and would definitely fail to qualify at the contest. We need to try to not have her or Next In Line (Louis Walsh’s newest experiment) do well in the public vote if we have any shot of surviving.

International fans of Eurovision are paying attention for once, we can’t mess it up

The songs are irrelevant! It's been a sexuality contest for years now.

I note bambie Thug hashtag on twitter is getting attention

Thank the baby jesus spurs and city is on tonight.

Yet another epic waste of money by RTE.

Really we shouldnt be entering it anymore. Unless we could somehow sneak rock n roll kids in as our entry without anyone noticing lol.

I read an article about it. It's a non binary.

Probably her/ his crimes against music are as bad as the crimes against grammar in the article referring to he/ him as a collective they/ them.

    Mod edit: warning given.

Actually having listened again, it's clear that as a song Isabella Kearney's effort is way the best. Instantly catchable and she's an Aussie to boot, which will also bring in votes.

Gas seeing the support for that rather weird act called Bambie, and obvious where it's coming from!

I would class myself as being pretty enthusiastic about your revision, not a megaphone for sure, but I’ll happily keep track of what countries are sending who etc. tuned into the late late final last year and it was pretty bad and very drawn out. I don’t think I’ll bother this time around. It’s the antithesis of what Eurovision is really.

Her song is way too flat and has no shot of making it from a semi where only the televote can vote

last year was shite - whilst John Leydon could not sing last year - it would still have been an interesting change.

In a bad mood tonight - Klopp leaving pool - so I'll be harsh here tonight.
