Very rough in Carrick on Shannon now. I'm absolutely terrified one of the trees out the back garden is going to come down and onto the house.

Definitely noticing the pressure drop now. Wind seems to have gone very low too

Quite windy the last couple of hours or more here in east Sligo. We're up a hill, last house in a row and it sounds like the house might take off but it sounds worse than it is. At least that was the case earlier. We have a plastic wood storage container in the back garden. It's currently mostly empty and has a brick on the lid to keep it closed. It's already blown open twice, brick be damned so now I'm hoping the 2 bricks on top and 2 in front will hold it together for the night 😁

Gusty enough in Monaghan Town here but must be mild compared to other locations. The noise of the wind is impressive here too.

Parasol snapped in half and ridiculously heavy trampoline (rectangular taking 4 strong men to move it) has moved a couple feet (I've it 'anchored' with rope and 8 20l thingees of water).

Windows flexing. Hope the solar panels will be ok.

    Record number of power outages?

Plenty reports of trees down in Cork anyway. Not too many big power outages yet but this Storm certainly is a noisy one.

And I thought trampolines would have not been a thing this time of the year. Look at the size of that thing

Claremorris gust of 126 km/h is its highest since Storm Eleanor in January 2018.

Impressive 130kmph gust at Mace Head. Athenry even recorded a respectable 98kmph.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Reports of a lamppost down on the salmon weir bridge in Galway city, that's a new one for me, normally just the trees topple.

Neighbour has one of those here. It's already moved down the grass to rest against his shed

Radar indicates potential for tornadic wind streak in vicinity of Shannon (A), south Clare and west Limerick towards Limerick City. Take cover if frequent thunder is approaching from west. It may be fairly localized if it happens and could produce damage that would be limited to a small percentage of the area outlined.

One of the happiest moments in my sad middle aged life was to give away a trampoline. Kid broke a leg on it. And the number of times I had to take it down and put it up. I'd say people have divorced for less. 😁
