    Ronnie mainly relies on front running over longer matches. He was never like John Higgins or Hendry where you never felt comfortable you had him beat until they were handing you the trophy.

    Carter was desperate in the last few frames last Sunday. I'd be very dissappointed in Trump if he folded like that.

    In some of his interviews I think even Ronnie is saying some of these fellas need to put him away when he starts coughing up chances like that.

    I was wrong according to cuetracker. Most number of centuries in a match is 7. Hendry, Ding and Trump all tied on 7.

    And it just shows how strong Hendry was in his period of domination he got 5 centuries on four occasions in 1993, 1995, 2007 and 2002.

    But then Ronnie put that in the shade 5 centuries on nine occasions in one match 2022 (3 times) 2020, 2008, 2007, 2004, 2003, and 2000.

    That is just silly.

    Trump ahead but he hasn't been ruthless yet. He really should've punished Ronnie there in the last couple of frames but he didn't. That may come back to bite him.

    In saying that I still have Trump as a slight favourite, he's a quality operator well used to the big occasion. I think tonight's session will be must see. Ronnie can easily find an extra gear, two extra gears, he hasn't really had a one visit frame yet, which is far below his standards...
