Plaster square meter patch

I removed a door that led into the attic with a small insulted door and then attached plasterboard and insulation to the remaining hole. So I need to plaster this remaining area, which is around 1 square meter. The depth of the recess is around 9mm.

My only experience plastering is when I patched holes adjacent to the chimney breast after it had been leaking. These chipped out holes were 10cm by 10cm max, but deep. Used Deep Hole Filler and Fine Surface Filler and wide decorator knifes that I kept perfectly clean. Did no sanding, took my time and it turned out perfect.

Is there a ready mixed product I can use to patch a square meter? I'm aware that I should use scrim tape on the edges. Any other tips for a novice like me?

Yep you can buy a 10ltr bucket of ready made, it was white as far as I can remember you can get in builders providers as I had to plaster around a box that wrapped around stove pipe going up to ceiling. It turned out well no sanding either.

Something like this, screwfix selling this one. Make sure you have correct tools for job though.
