I like the early transfers, it's a value thing, but I know the risks. My original plan was a minus 4 only. The Haaland transfer was a gamble that has totally backfired and I definitely should have waited til closer to deadline there. That was a right feck up by me. Bowen is a bit of a killer, especially with the Sheffield United fixture.

The joys of it, I'm always open to big transfer hits if need be. I'm hoping someone pulls off a haul and claws those back. If I get 11 out on the pitch, I'll be happy enough.

No, iirc I think Ferguson was dropping and Haaland was definitely on the way up. I don't think they would have moved price wise for another day or 2 though. Bowen was about to go up and Salah was on the way down, so I pulled the trigger there. I should have waited on Haaland either way, I thought he'd be back for this gameweek but there was no really solid injury news. A bad mistake, you live and learn.
