Nothing to add about the closing remarks today by Blinne Ní Ghralaigh by the way?

Bizarre given South Africa's problems they have time to involve themselves in this.

Why? It's not as if this has taken up EVERYONES time! I'm sure no matter who bought this case people would find an issue with the country involved.

I wonder how many of the lapdog zionist supporters would consider that Irish lady now to be a legitimate target for an Israeli assassination? Would they cheer and whoop in delight if it happened?

The zionist's foreign ministry have already accused SA of being the "legal arm of Hamas" due to the case.

Israeli law may well be true. I don't know.

But ICJ only deals with countries. Not individuals.

    They can only judge "Israel".

So no individual can be found guilty.

There was some fella on Drivetime this evening who explained how the "civilian to terrorist" casualty ratio was much better in the current Zionist genocide than in other examples. I think he was some "lawyers for Israel" kind of group from the UK.

He then proceeded to explain how many of the children killed were terrorists. And he actually explicitly included those not yet teenagers as being among the "terrorists".

Cormac O hEadhra did a good job of calling him out on the overall sentiment. (Although didn't specifically press on the pre-teen terrorist claim). He asked him how many. The zionist didn't know. Cormac then, almost laughing at him with incredulity, pointed out "how can you say that when you have no idea" - to which your man more or less said "It just has to be true. They are Palestinians"

It actually makes perfect sense. South Africa is a country consumed by hatred. It's people are only a few steps away from bashing each others skulls in so they can feast on the goo inside.

One of the leaders of one of their main political parties had this to say presumably about internal SA politics: "a revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate" (source)

It should also be noted that South Africa is perfectly fine with genocide, like the Russian genocide in Ukraine, or some of what's happening in Sudan, because those are the right kinds of genocide.

Viewed from this perspective, South Africa's position makes perfect sense.

Funny, its those defending Israel who get accused of "attacking the source, rather than the content" ...

Get a grip fgs. You sound completely unhinged by hatred of Israel. Between this crap and your comment about Israel "sacrificing" the October 7 victims you're starting to sound like qanon.

Heard the interview - whatever you think of Clare Daly, she handed the lawyer his arse. Cormac did too.

I can't recall if it was earlier or later in the program but an Irish surgeon (prof) who had been to Gaza over last 15 or so years was very powerful. Matter of fact, simple descriptions.

Two standout lines which I'll paraphrase

    1. asked if he had prepared himself before his last visit (he's only just back home) he said he had spoken to his colleagues in Gaza daily. But when he got there, the reality was something he could not have prepared himself for. He didn't elaborate much but did say he saw things he had never seen before and no-one should ever see
    2. The death from existing injuries that cannot be properly treated followed by infection will dwarf the current number of dead. If there is an outbreak of cholera, it would be disastrous.

Bear in mind that SA put their submission together weeks ago.

It has gotten a whole lot worse since and the future looks like today is just the tip of the iceberg.

I fail utterly to understand those who continually defend the actions of Israel without any ounce of humanity towards the innocents in Gaza.

I'm reminded of footage of allies, after liberating a concentration or extermination camp in 1945 who made the local population file past the horror and destruction they must have known was going on.

So, looks like we are a few hours away from the UK and USA bombing Yemen ?

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

Senseless escalation by the Brits and the US .

Things are not bad enough obviously.

looks like hamas's iranian backed terrorist friends have it coming .. incessant pirate attacks on international shipping let alone on US/UK war ships was never going be tolerated for long

how it will play out is another matter .. saudi arabia have been involved in yemen for years with mixed results

Huh? The level of violence in South Africa is off the charts, and some of it is based on racial hatred. How is it "blatant racism" to notice that?

    Too close to the bone?

If I was to ask you what countries would you most associate with extra-judicial and extra-territorial assassinations of those it accuses of being it's enemies, which ones would you name?

Why would you cheer on the zionists taking out someone they don't like in Lebanon, but not in London, or Dublin? Are we back to the brown thing again?

Speaking of qanon and the like, do you believe what your puppet-masters tell you about South Africa being the legal arm of Hamas? Is the Irish barrister lady a representative of Hamas?

The excuses are already being trotted out. And in impolite language too. Calling the Irish Lawyer a "representative of Hamas" is bizarre.

Your comments about SA are what Israel is saying also. So no surprise there.

But here's the thing, Israel still has not presented its evidence to the ICJ which would, presumably, completely exonerate them.

The fear of being caught is palpable and playing out in the statements being issued.

The ramifications of the ICJ finding against Israel and ruling that interim measures are required to prevent the current situation getting any worse will be unimaginable, regardless of any final ruling.

Hanging anything on South Africa is utterly meaningless - no point shooting the messenger.

Their buddies needs something to distract the world from what they are doing at the minute. Genocide takes a bit of time. General populations in the West - including the US - are getting to the stage where denial of what is going on is no longer plausible.

its an election year in the US and possibly UK too anything is possible including a strike on iran if they get involved too

its hard to believe that hamas started all this with their senseless brutal oct 7 terrorist attack on israel

at the end of the day about 15% of maritime trade pass throught that region interruptions to trade will never be tolerated

And of course the Houthis attacking ships have nothing to do with it. 🫤 Crazy stuff.

Supposedly UK, USA and Israel conducting a combination of Airstrikes, sub and ship missile launches.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

I wouldn't of thought Israel would of been allowed to take part in this as it would look like the UK and USA were backing Israel military wise and choosing them in the middle east. I'm sure that's what all the countries around them would think and I'm sure people in Gaza would think that.

UK and US seem hellbent on doubling down on their support for the genocide, destabilisation of the region and escalation of the hostilities.

Effective way of moving the headlines away from the more civilised happenings of the damning case being put forward in the international court of justice.
