Dual immersion element – what way to wire it – help pls

    Hi,

    Wonder what wire goes where. Please see pic ... Thanks in advaice

    "Elec in" cables with tape on them just to show them.

    Cables that go to the element:

    Green - earth

    Blue to # ?

    Black to # ?

    Brown to # ?

    This isn't a DIY-able job as there is far too much risk with electrical and water systems in contact with each other. It needs to be completed by a competent person.

    If you do wish to proceed then have a look at this thread:

    The element MUST be properly earthed and the earthing off the supply isn't even shown in the photos...!

    Hi,

    Ive been doing DIY elcetrics since I was 10 and want to do this.

    Earth - I will make sure that it has an earth off the supply. I just didnt show it in the pic but I realise thats essential.

    I cant follow that link you gave me above.

    Can anyone say what cable goes to what # number?

    Cables that go to the element:

    Green - earth

    Blue to # ?

    Black to # ?

    Brown to # ?

    brown - bath(3)

    blue - neutral out(5)


    Green/yellow— earth
