Making a 13A fused switch smart

This switch is inside the house and controls power to my shed and a pair of outdoor sockets. I usually leave it off and only switch it on when necessary but at Christmas time I use the sockets in the shed to power some outdoor Christmas lights. Forgot to turn it off a few times this Christmas and has me wishing it could be controlled via Home Assistant.

Would a Shelly PM1 be able to handle something like this?

slightly different approach, Get some of the proper outdoor waterproof sockets e.g https://www.screwfix.ie/p/british-general-ip66-13a-2-gang-dp-weatherproof-outdoor-switched-socket/67928

Run the power to these as if they were extension leads, as in they plug into the existing power in the shed via a standard plug. Then use a smart plug to turn them on and off.

That’s a really interesting shout. Not sure f it would have the strength to flip one of these switches though. They’re pretty stiff. I might drop them an email.

A Sonoff TH16 will easily do that. These units like the others mentioned above do not "flip" the switch, the turn the power on or off as required to the downstream device(s), in this case the your shed sockets.
