Controller repair

Any chance it's still in warranty? If you get on to Microsoft support and tell them how loyal you are and live Xbox they might help you out. They've been good for me before with other mess ups.

Also it shouldn't be breaking after one year so your consumer rights take precedence over any sellers Terms and Conditions.

What I would do if they gave me hassle is try and buy the exact same product from them again and return the dud one in new box and receipt etc.

But ya there are places in Dublin if you Google. GameStop had a repair service, but not for the elite series!

By any chance would they have the same model still there? But a new one and return the old one.

What exactly is the issue?

Seems to be common going by this repair guy, looks like they need to be swopped out rather than cleaned. Maybe cannibalise some sticks from another controller if they're the same type.

There's probably a few tutorials on line.
