For anyone looking to get dispose of their Christmas tree over the next few days.

"During the month of January your household Christmastree can be brought free of charge to any of the Limerick Recycling Centres (Mungret, Kilmallock and Newcastlewest).

Limit of 2 trees per vehicle.

There are also three additional one-day collection points for Christmas trees, from 9.30am - 3.30pm ONLY.

Sat 2nd - Musgraves Market Place Car Park, Park Road
Fri 8th - Watch House Cross (Complex with Library), near recycling centre, Moyross
Sat 9th - Our Lady of Lourdes Church, car park area, Childers Road"

Before you do that, look up alpaca farms in your area, they love Christmas trees. Full of vitamins for them during the winter.
