Yes. Ask them at the til to stop at 150, pay, then restart the shopping. One of the helpful cashiers alerted me to this workaround

I’ve posted this multiple times on this thread but here goes again for those who may have missed it.

This process may help those who come on here to ask for a spare voucher.

How to get a Dunnes voucher whenever you need one!!

sign up to the Dunnes app using a gmail account
you can use your gmail address and add a +1 after your name eg djdunny+1 @ gmail.com - do this incrementally each time you need a voucher eg djdunny+2 @ gmail.com etc.
the activation code will always go to your original gmail inbox
continue the sign up process on the app
fill in whatever details you need to fill in (Name, DOB, phone number)
select digital vouchers
wait approx 15 mins and a 5 off 25 voucher will show up
take a screenshot of the voucher - save it for later
sign out of the account on the app (sign back in to your original Dunnes account so you can accumulate the points)
repeat as many times as you need vouchers.

Yes, you screenshot the voucher in app and send the image by PM in Boards to the person who requested it. Or sometimes they may give you a mobile number to send it to.

I think that's better than posting it on this page, cos then nobody knows if someone has used it already.

that is a different issue. If shopping online they are automatically added up to 150 max.

In the actual shop you can use up to 9 vouchers all at once. Some people say the limit is 4, this is not true but advisable, presuming they are 10 off 50 ones. If you are at a till and spend over 200 then you only get 4x€50 in return. So you could use 8x€25 vouchers, and get 4x€50 in return. So the advisable limit is not really 4 vouchers, it is a total spend of €200 using multiple vouchers, it could be more or less than 4.

So this is why people ask cashiers to split receipts. Also if you have several vouchers of different values you may have to plan what items you put up first, esp. if you have some very high value items. I usually tot up my items on my phone as I go, its a shame they do not have self scanners like in tesco. Or the odd time I will make a list online, as though I am shopping online, so I have a list ready when I go to the shop and not wandering around looking for something to get to the threshold.

I know people who do not use the vouchers, saying they do not spend enough (single people who live nearby with no transport who do not do a weekly shop). They way to look at is if your usual spend is only €15, then put that in your basket, you are buying it regardless. Now if you have a €25 voucher then search for another item or 2 with a value of €10, you can effectively get that for €5.
