Staying signed in to my gmail account

Hi All, Every time I shut down chrome and my gmail I am signed out automatically and when I sign in again I am asked to verify that I am me on my phone. This is a complete pain in the arse. How do I stay signed in, even if I shut down my laptop?? Cheers All (and I cant be the only tecno-illiterate with this problem!)

Hi All,

Are you clearing all cookies automatically when you close Chrome?
