Disability allowance and qualified child

would anyone be able to tell me something about disability allowance and qualified child payment .

im on disability years now with my mental health and a back injury and just recently my daughter decided to repeat sixth year and I got the qualified child payment she’s 18 now .

how much should I be getting every week from now on I’m just confused lately

It says on this page that the full rate for a child over 12 is 50 euro pw, half rate is 25 euro pw.

Disability allowance for a single person with no means is €220 currently. From 1st of January 2024 it’s going up to €232.

If you have savings of less then €50000, and you’re not living with your partner , and you have no other income, and you don’t owe any money to SW, and your rent isn’t coming out of your SW before you get it, then you should be getting €220+€50 for your daughter +€33 fuel allowance.

Yes sorry plus €50 for qualified child, that’s going up to €54 on 1st January

What do you mean “on criteria”? What criteria are you referring to??

In January everyone on a core SW payment is getting an increase of €12 for themselves and €4 per dependent child.

A proposed discussion.

Hysterical hyperbole online and a deliberate attempt to disrupt any discussion about how genuinely disabled, sick and injured people might be separated from the chancers who’ve managed to manipulate themselves into a payment has resulted in vulnerable people being afraid that their payment is going to be reduced in the next few weeks.

Very frustrating.
