Has to be Gavin and Stacey. I love Gavin's ma.

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.

Dominic Chinea, the metal work guy from The Repair Shop has a good YouTube channel where he restores old vehicles.

DeanDohertyGreaser is very good on YouTube (and Instagram) - fixes power tools.

Sunset Beach was hilarious, I think TV3 used to show it years ago. It had an evil twin and one of the characters was possessed or something...good, brainless TV for college days.

On TV it has to be Minder- great characters, always a decent storyline and the action scenes were good for their time, love it! On youtube it's Sampson boat build, Dean Doherty's tool fixes, Post Apocalyptic Inventor, Mustie, Marty T, Essential Craftsman and anything that involves fixing, building, creating etc.

Diagnosis Murder and Murder She Wrote.

    Just great tv.

NCIS episodes season 1-10 are all mostly good. Nice harmless stuff. It really went downhill for me after Ziva left it.

White collar. I coul binge watch that series forever

    Columbo

For really easy going, relaxed, don't have to think telly two programmes spring to mind. One is the Repair Shop and two Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.

Forensic Files episodes on YouTube, and Columbo. But for the foreseeable future, I will only be watching Bobby Fingers Jeff Bezos video on repeat.

Can't speak to full episodes but the YouTube channels of Parks & Recreation and Community have kept me entertained for donkeys now. P&R is such a nice, optimistic show it always cheers me up.

I know my wife periodically watches The Gilmore Girls for comfort and familiarity.

    Not that guy!

Escape to Rural France was the channel I was thinking of, but there are multiple similar channels all seemingly inspired by the Strawbridges.

    Master of the Universe

The danger of the Sporanos is you'd stick on one episode and five hours later you're neck deep into it again. 😁

Frasier would be #1 for me. Seinfeld and King of Queens would be up there as well.

Jim Henson's The Storyteller, and The Storyteller: Greek Myths. The latter show got me into Greek mythology and legends as a kid. And some episodes hit me really, really hard as a kid.

Cheers. It's one of those shows that's a time capsule, but a good one. Bars were so different then, and I still get nostalgic if I walk into a pub and see the old timey adverts on the walls. You'd be let walk into them as a child, and nobody blinked an eye. Different times.

Young Ones. Saw this as a kid, and can remember most of it word for word. Still, putting on an episode can cheer me up. (And makes me appreciate Rik Mayall (RIP). Behind the scenes, he made sure folks got equal pay, and didn't overwork the cast or crew.)

Batman the Animated Series, and Superman The animated Series, and Justice League (Unlimited). These shows came out of nowhere and just changed the game.

A recent addition, and one I'm completely late to the party on, is The Dragon Prince, from the folks behind Avatar: The Last Airbender. My brother introduced me to the show, and It's genuinely engrossed me. I watched episodes intermittently, then went back and bingewatched the first 3 seasons.

Lived in Germany for a year at one time and used to watch 'days of our lives' and and a couple of others like it on the armed forces network. Storylines were just bonkers, the sets used to move behind them and the acting..🥴😁 but still would pull me back most times😂

Anytime I want to distress in front of the TV there is nothing better than a good episode if Star Trek. I have seen them all a thousand times anyway so they are all an easy watch for me now. Still never gets old do especially TNG. It's a view of a better time where there is no poor, no need for money, no dangerous diseases, no greed and all humans and Aliens work together for the betterment of each other.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

I've been enjoying the re runs of Home Improvement on Comedy Central. Still really funny, daft and lots of good stunts. It's aged well.
