Solis or Avenger compact tractors experience?

I am looking for a small tractor for scrapping a yard, it needs to have no cab to fit where I need it to go. Originally I wanted a vintage ford or massey without a cab but the vintage fans make these very expensive for what they are so now am looking at a new compact tractor.

Has anyone got experience of Solis or Avenger brands? Never heard of them until now, 20 -25hp are around €12k-€13k new which seems like good value. I would love to hear peoples experience with them.

No experience of those brands. But if you can get a 135 or a 240 it's still a stronger tractor than a garden tractor in my view.

You should be able to buy one for a lot less than 12k.

Agree with Say my name here. A David Brown 885 or Zetor 3511 are options too. These tractors have stood the test of time.

Parts for the vintage tractors named above have been available for the past 50 years without issue and will probably be for the next 50 too, could you say the same about some of these new budget brands?

Would you get a second hand skid steer for similar money? Would do a few extra jobs for you then as well with a bucket or grab

More maneuverable too if there is tight spots, but might not suit some operators if they struggle for maneuverability themselves getting in and out except for something like a JCB robot with boom on one side and a door on the opposite.

Can't see the sense in buying something that even if its reasonable quality to start with you've no idea about spares in 5 years time.. Plenty of vintage / compact tractors that will scrape yards and other small jobs for well under your €12-13k

Full disclosure I work with Solis Ireland. I want to make the point that the number one selling tractor of any brand in Europe is the Solis 26. This is outselling any other model from any other brand. There are tens of thousands of these tractors on the market and this number is increasing. Parts will most certainly be available for Solis in 10,15, 20 years time as there is good business in it; just like any common brand models mentioned previously like David Brown 885 or Zetor 3511.

Have a mustang for last 7 yes, payed 7k for it. Its hand in for scraping yards and even pulling down auto scrapers if they get too full
