Bought a new to me, regimented Sinn butterfly clasp and tegimented bezel today 😁

I can take or leave the white Silicon 🤨 but I've been humming and hawing over the new style clasp for ages and managed to a deal that costs less than the "new" claps price that covers strap, clasp and bezel 😁

An early(very) birthday present to myself. The bezel can swap into my U2-SDR so I can go with the black bezel or just plain old bead blasted steel and the strap can be used on any of my 4 Sinns to dress them up for Halloween 👻🎃

I'll be doing it myself, Sinn use a set of screws as the their bezel retainer. They call it a "captive" bezel, it's really just 4 set screws through bezel edge and into a track under the crystal. It makes bezel swapping and indeed stripping the watch for deep cleaning quite easy.

I have a 103 variant, with plexi so it's probably the highest of 103s around. That said, the way the lug tapers does a very good job of masking the height. It's in and around 15mm high but doesn't wear as if it is that big.

It really does taper well and hide the height. I have a Blackbay 41 and I think that wears far taller. Those slab sides just seem huge 🤣

Just on this purchase. I bought it via sales corner over on TZ-UK and blown by 2 things.

1. The seller had them in the post to me before the funds hit his account. It was paid via BACS transfer. We'd agreed the price, he sent over his details, I sent the shipping address not expecting it to be posted until today as it was after 4pm.

The warm glow that comes from a seller trusting me...

Is nice 💯🤣

2. The speed of delivery! It was in the last pickup from a post office in Shropshire and was on the mat in Kilkeel at 10am.

Lovely watch and enjoy the day out. I'm looking forward to a romo through the IWM and Duxford as and when the Mrs decides she needs a trip to London 😉

I'm seeing quite a bit of availability for Skydwellers in the UK.

A lovely watch but one that after the last round of price rises is a tad out of my price range.(I mean even further out of course 😉)

I'd forgotten I'd backed the Monro Adventure Kickstarter so it was a surprise when I'd gotten the campaign successful message.

I've gone for the Black/Green MA4 version and I'm looking forward to getting hands on with it now.

Backers are also entered into a draw for 1 of 3 Red versions. If the Red was for sale, I'd have bought it! So fingers crossed 😁

KS price was £215 Inc shipping. Let's hope they are declaring EU vat 😁 or I'll need to have €50 handy when it lands.

The White silicone Sinn strap arrived today so I think I'm sorted for Arctic White 🤣

The Sinn Butterfly clasp is quite decent too.

The strap basically came for free with the clasp and Ingot it for an absolute steal so I'm happy out.

Took a trip into the Portobello street market in London today. One of the guys from the Birmingham watch fair had a stall and picked up this

Straight away was thinking of Wibbs! Modern version from I believe the 2000s that uses an ETA quartz chronograph movement. Bit of an impulse buy but for £150, think I did okay.

Some pilots watches also there but definitely out of my price range
