If this was brought in before waste collection was privatised it would have been outstanding, bringing it in now is crazy when almost every house in the country has recyclables collected by their waste provider which in turn reduces the cost of the collection.

I seen one of those machines in Aldi. It wasn't switched on though. I crush my cans to save on space. But they're not valid apparently. They have to be undamaged. I presume the machine then crushes them.

I should have stocked up on empty cans and bottles for the past year, 💶🫰.
