How did they all give that a 10-8 first round. Usman did well, could have even gotten last round the odd time but think Chimaev did enough to win overall.

DC is the worst commentator around. The bias towards Chimaev was a disgrace and he's just annoying in everything he says

Takedown scoring is ridiculous. Third round is the perfect example, Usman dominating on the feet, Chimaev scores a takedown, does nothing with it and wins the round.

I'd cancel it out when Usman got back up.

I'll never understand the bias towards a takedown followed up with no real damage.

Main event up next, should be a good one again.

Yeah I'd maybe agree if he did some damage but did nothing in that first round with so much control. Terrible scoring imo.

I assume the 28-28 was 10-8 khamzat and then 10-9, 10-9 Usman?

Would have liked it to be a 5-rounder though.

Hopefully Volk wins this with a KO and expecting another classic.

It’s so funny for the keyboard warriors to pass judgement on fighters after the fact, such nonsense.

Give Volk credit for stepping up, he got caught, his defense wasn’t bad, just a matter of an inch higher and he might of blocked it, not sure a full camp would make a huge difference, Islam is legit and he has proved it. People saying Volk shouldn’t of taken the fight is an easy comment after the fact, he is 35, things change so quickly in mma, can’t gurantee a rematch against Islam down the line, it happens all the time, Volk had an opportunity and he took it, it is what it is.

chimaev is very beatable in my opinion, I think the hype has gotten crazy, he is great but very beatable

Chimaev is an explosive one round fighter. Looked exhausted for round two. Not easy to get out of first round with him but thought usman won the second and third although was very very close.

Performance of the night goes tonthe doctor who tells a man squealing on the ground he wasnt kicked in the balls- puking and went for ultrasound after being carried from cage.

Not sure what went on with walker but if given time to recover from illegal strike he looked to be ok to continue. Not sure how he didnt win by DQ

The location of fight probably dictated the result.

these fighters fighting with staph is a bit mad.

Controlled about four and half minutes on the ground, dealt significant damage and Usman did nothing. I can't think of a single strike he threw apart from the one over his shoulder while Chimaev was on his back. The very definition of a 10-8 round.

Usman definitely won the second and third in my opinion and only one judge got the scores right.
