Great game, disappointing result.Really takes the shine off the rest of the tournament now as a neutral who gives a toss whether South Africa or New Zealand win their 4th world cup (outside of people from those countries obviously)

Maybe yeah , they were favourites for that match , playing at home. Had already beaten the all blacks as well. Some silly silly decisions from them towards the end. I think we have another group of bottlers on our hands. They have bottled in the WC before. Like Ireland.

What a game. Didn't expect the early pace to remain throughout. France lost too much ball in contact in that second half. The semi finals wont meet the brilliance of last nights and tonight QFs.

So much for hometown decisions...if you ever see a South African complain about a referee again...remind them of this match. But O'Keefe is a good referee for South Africa to have, he lets a lot go and does not police the breakdown that much so its a free for all.

France just not good enough. Poor handling at the end. They needed to gain territory and work a drop at goal. They panicked under pressure. Thats what happens.
