I was throwing a few pieces into a hurling thread , but got little engagement, so i thought of starting a thread just for Camogie around the country.

A bit of news from Kilkenny - Peter 'Chap' Cleere named as manager of Kilkenny senior team - he has previously managed junior hurling and Carlow Senior camogie

Tullaroan Vs Windgap - in Dunnamaggin - Could be close, Windgap a better team overall, but struggling to click but should have enough to go through.

B Rangers Vs J Stephens - in Tullaroan - Another close one? Two teams that everyone else would want to play in the Semi. Some outstanding players on both sides, but not strong overall. I think the Village might do it.

Piltown Vs Clara - in Graignamanagh. Piltown should have too much for Clara. Amy Shorthall got 5 goals vs Conahy, but will be marked a bit tighter by Piltown. Will Aoife Doyle be back? Piltown to win

Dicksboro V St Brigids - in Jenkinstown . Only one winner here? Brigids will be tough, but wont stay with the Boro.

I think windgap and piltown will win , with piltown winning well against clara.barrow and the village is close to call and could go either way.Dicksboro hot favs and should beat brigids but if there is to be a shock it could come here

A massive step up for chap, hope he gets some good people around him. By all accounts , he has been lined up for a while. I thought someone more experienced would have been set up. There was a high probability the last management team would step away after 4 good years

Wins today for windgap, barrow and Dicksboro, heard a proposed protest by the players was stood down today for anorher form of action.players I believe arent happy over the running of the competitions and how the draw was made last sunday amongst other things.

No, Kilkenny winners play wexford winners away in semi final.dubliin winners play offaly winners in other semi.kilkenny winners play st martins or oulart away.

I think Piltown will beat Dicksboro in the Semi. Piltown came very close to beating them in the League Final without Aoife Doyle who went off injured. I read she was played the Clara game and got a hatrick. Windgap should beat Barrow Rangers.

This is actually shocking. The camogie world in general seems to be stuck in a time warp but don't forget they're only volunteers and you can't say a word to them!!
