This whole situation is such an unsolvable mess. Can almost guarantee this will evolve into a military invasion into Gaza. Sympathy for Israel will last until the Palestinian death toll goes into the thousands and then the world will start calling for a ceasfire/release of hostages. Then the cycle will start again.

Of course I condemn Hamas and the targeting of civilians. Equally I condemn the Israeli government/military for the apartheid and targeting of civilian areas.

There's no winner here, victims on both sides. You will never win an argument against a people that think they were chosen by God and the land is promised to them. And you will never get people who have lived there for generations to accept their land and country being taken from them.

Think about it, if right now in your home you got a knock at the door and it was the army telling you a new family was taking your house because God says so in a book would you roll over and accept it? What would you do if you were forced to move to uninhabitable places, like Leitrim?

What if years passed and nobody was doing anything to help you? And your garden in the house you were forced to move to was taken from you by settlers? How much would you put up with?

When does enough become enough? You can't fight their army because you have sticks and they have tanks.

It's a crazy mess and will only end when the Palestinians are fully annexed by Israel. The world will protest and then move on.

I'm generally supportive of the Palestinians and feel for them and despise the treatment they receive but you won't maintain people's sympathies by murdering people.

That conflict just continues to be an absolute fvcking mess.

I am just wondering how long it will be before hamas or hezbolla detonate a dirty bomb in israel, cos with way things are going, IDF are going to absolutely steam roll the gaza strip and with iran backing hamas i have to suspect iran gave some material to hamas for mossad attacks on irans nuclear program.

Can we stop calling Hamas animals? Predatory animals eg. Tigers, crocs, sharks, foxes, etc. Only kill to feed themselves and/ or their young. They dont go out to cause harm for fun, for religion or for hate.

Animals we interact with daily - like dogs, cats, mice, cows, sheep, pigs, horses, etc are gentle animals who would never intentionally hurt another animal or human being.

To call Hamas or any terrorist organization 'animals' is an insult to the creatures of this earth who have more heart and sense than a lot of humans on this planet.

Plenty of animals kill for the sake of it.
