Well to simplify things, you should not be able to hold the ball while off feet, he was off his feet, he had 3 seconds to place the ball, not get back up and play on

Only a yellow card. So much for the minnows getting all the bad calls.

How on earth was that not upgraded to a red card!?

The drop in height argument is horse **** as, once again, it was always an illegal....

Wow on the red/yellow, just wow.

Ritchie never changed his height from yards away

Generally in the 'knee down' situation, the ref will call 'tackle, release!'.

I don't think for a second that the Tongan tackler released because he had a knee down, they just flat out didn't make a successful tackle.

There's obviously no favouritism just poor officiating

I'm not sure about this Scottish defense

Shambolic from Scotland. The quick lineout took their own players by surprise. Russell didn't look ready for it and shanked the kick and as a result the defensive line wasn't set.

just saw the replay of the yellow. That should have been upgraded. He drove up and into the Scottish player. Terrible terrible call by the bunker.

Scotland about 5m offside there, glad it takes in a try, but where was the advantage??

Still wrapping my head around that bunker decision too.

He was dropping slightly, but nothing too major. The Tongan tackler went up into the tackle either way.

Scotland's attack is plain and simple and pretty ineffective. Very little dummy running, they dont keep the opponents guessing. side to side one out runner and its easy to drift them out to the sidelines where they come back in and tun out of ideas.

Finn Russell in a nutshell, woeful clearance kick, fall off tackle, Tonga try. No wonder Townsend dropped him before.

Ireland would have to stay in the hotel to lose to Scotland and even then its not a definite defeat

Give Tonga another month together and they are winning this.

Kinghorn is having an unfortunate game. Some knock ons, forward passed and now that.

Mercurial they call it, brilliant one match, hopeless the next four

And some people will try and say that he is the best 10 in the world.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,972 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

That lineout wasn't straight to begin with.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

Line out wasn't straight yet scrum scotland

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,484 ✭✭✭standardg60

Lineout wasn't straight, funny he saw the Tongan one

That was not a straight line out from Scotland but the ref didn't give it. He gave a knock on against Tonga.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 79,472 ✭✭✭✭FrancieBrady

Luck is with the Scots today. Bounce of the ball and woeful Tongan tackling
