Just wondering can anyone recommend a good Ping fitter in the Kildare Dublin region with a good range of shaft options. Tried Mcguirks in Naas but very limited.

You could try Concept Golf near Blanchardstown. I've no connection to them other than having two very good fittings (irons and driver) out there last year. They definitely carry Ping, along with most other big brands. Mark's a top guy.

I've never owned a Ping club but been thinking of giving one of their drivers a go. Get really solid reviews online. Was thinking of something 2nd hand like G410 or thereabouts. Anyone I know who plays Ping seems to stick with them long term.

I have the stealth at the moment and while on good hits it goes a long way the off centre ones are not as forgiving i know a lot of my friends have changed over to the G425 and G430 and are playing off single digits and sacrificed some distance over better dispersion.

Yeah I even saw My Golf Spy had an article where they said Ping was the best driver that most golfers should use. Obviously there are exceptions but they said Ping are the ones that best fit a broad range of player. Their customer service gets a great shout out too, they seem really good to sort out any issues, even years after the club is purchased.

I got fitted for the i500 irons a few years back of Michael Kavanagh out at Stackstown, and I still absolutely love them. I can’t remember how broad his Ping range is, but from memory he had a decently selection from the top brands out there.

How would a fitting in Halpenny compare to say the likes of Concept Golf if you knew you were looking for a specific club such as Ping?

Try and look/Google golf clubs where ping are having a fitting day, Im not a member of craddockstown but got an appointment earlier this year, there with the ping fitter no problem. I was looking into the g430 driver. Went in with the opinion the sft with Flexi shaft was up my street but ended up matching with a the max/regular shaft and it's all going well so far. Was easily given 30 mins and no pressure to invest

Try Bernard Quigley in Naas golf club. He fitted me for my ping driver.

I would second trying Michael Kavanagh in Stackstown, good range of stuff there. Perhaps give him a ring first to see what he has.

Ping drivers are not short and criminally forgiving. After many years with Titleist drivers, a switch to Ping was one of the best equipment decisions I ever made.

Ye I had the TSR 2 and the Stealth and while long when off the centre hits just lost so much distance. Hit a friends G430 and on shots I thought would be where the bad shots on the others were they were up with the well hit shots

Got my Ping done by Ciaran Hegarty at Millicent Golf Club.

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.
