Structural Survey Timber Frame House

Hi, I am trying to buy a timber-framed house. The initial survey has identified some cracking in the outer block skin. I need a structural survey by a structural engineer who knows timber-framed houses. I'd be grateful of any suggestions

You need to manage your expectations here as the SE will only be able to give you an opinion based on non invasive observations so perhaps post a few pictures here first, there is a big difference between hairline cracks and mica style cracking so context is important

Who did the initial survey? Was it a building survey or just a valuation?
