Ruthless from the whole team, and a vintage Earls finish. McCarthy has been great since coming on, on the plane now for me. I think Earls will go too.

Joe McCarthy is Ireland's player of the series so far. Made 4 or 5 pivotal contributions across both games.

He's a superstar in the making.

Ireland running out comfortable winners without being near their best, some real moments of quality there and lots to work on too.

Great contrast to our last WC warm up game vs England.

At least one of our 10s can score a difficult kick!

Great pass by Aki, McCarthy look great since he has come on.

I thought McCarthy would be sneaking into the squad if he made it at all.

Now I'm thinking he might get into the first choice 23.

Let's aim to hit 30 now and not get an injury!

Earls showing his pace there, still has it.

Been excellent so far. Huge physicality but also very dynamic. Players with both those qualities are rare outside of the pacific islands.

Jeez Williams is giving England sympathy pens now.

I'm a Leinster fan but first and foremost Irish. No it's good when someone says they think someone from their province mightn't be up to international standard.

I'd still be much happier with Ross than say Paddy Wallace no. 2 to O'Gara in 2007!

Murray is having a tough one with that tackle.

Not at all. He's a special talent.

Not been this excited for a forward coming through since Doris.

Let's be fair to Prendergast too...shaky start, but he's been pretty good.

Isn't that some blood coming from Ringrose's ear?

Decent win against an England side that is further ahead of us in start of season minutes. Lineout needs to be worked on, but overall not much to complain about.

Happy with that. Think Furlong needs another run next week against Samoa. Hoping a few games will get him back up to top speed. I’d have him on the bench behind Bealham for a knock out game next week at the moment.

Nice to see the English lads congratulating Earls after the match.

We're definitely not picking up as many injuries as pre other WCs. I think Sheehan will be fine.

Agree with the commentators with the 12 shirt, there is legit comptition there between Aki and Henshaw. I don't think Henshaw has been in top form this year so far. Aki has been good when selected going back since last summer.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with that, but player of the series is a bit much. :P

There was a moment where he tackled Lawes and then lifted him, putting him in air-jail (as I'd say to my dog when he's misbehaving). His physicality, and how he uses it is really impressive.

Joe McCarthy picked up an English player and ball like a parents would pick up a child, he looks the part

What a moment for Earls. Unreal stuff. Delighted for the man.

Earls will continue to sharpen up I'd say. Probably our no. 3 winger.

He is no no.8 though, a very capable blindside but that's it. Joe McCarthy has to go to the WC, he's a beast!! Aki was also excellent today. Thankfully we seen to have come through without any serious injuries. England are a complete rabble and yet may get further than us in the WC due to the draw.

Fair play to Aki. Great vision and execution to make the pass to Earls. Nice way to cap the win.

Overall it was a decent performance. Our lineout and our place kicking were the biggest disappointments. Thought our back three were rock solid and the centres went well. We look dangerous in open play but our set piece needs a lot of work.
