Does anyone know of any regulations for AC in a motorhome / campervan? I plan to have a simple battery setup with inverter and 2 AC sockets. Is there regulation for this or are the regulations just for connections to the mains?

There's regulations for 230V AC caravan wiring

    Main rcd protecting supply

    Double pole protective devices required

Main isolation and main overcurrent protection(if more than 1 circuit in caravan )

At least one light with switch must be provided

Wiring has to be stranded or flexible ,solid not allowed

not sure on inverter supplies or what applies

Thanks. Do you know if I can do this myself? I have contacted 2 RECI sparks and both said they no idea what the regulation is and wouldn't go near it!
