It was the operators of truth social that tipped the FBI off about the would be killer of Biden

that won’t be good for user retention.

I thought the FBI were utterly corrupt and couldn't be trusted?

The darker reaches of the QAnon web will be furious.

On the balance of probabilities, a jury which had access to the evidence found that he had committed sexual assault.

So your assessment of the situation is more than likely false, just a baseless personal opinion.

    As for a 'Depraved' response?

    That means: morally corrupt; wicked.

Which clearly and demonstrably more accurately describes Trump's conduct. Yes, Trump is depraved - in his political conduct, and in his personal conduct. Trump is morally corrupt.

You are the one defending a rapist and a racist.

    'Something' shady going on?

Again, the 'shady' conduct is by Trump and his stooges.

    Your claims have no credibility.

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil - that is the summation of your posts about Trump.

I think you've overdone the pomposity a bit, makes it less believable. Loving the defence of a rapist though, that'll get the wokies frothing!

All true, but according to our learned friend because Juries have sometimes gotten it wrong that means that we cannot be absolutely, positively, definitely guaranteed certain that they got their decision correct in this case , so Trump could be innocent so on that basis he is giving him the benefit of the doubt.

    Or something.

Yes, which might be a reasonable standard in some circumstances.

But not when the same person applies that standard nowhere else when they are spreading allegations against other politicians...

An entirely self serving argument, textbook hypocrisy and double standards.

Hatred for Trump is to such a high level among parts of the US that it wouldn't surprise me in the least if something shady was at play. I can't prove that to be the case but I think it's more likely than not.

This is the gist of MAGA supporters replies when asked how the election was rigged against Trump. One being interviewed last week said "theres tons of evidence" but when pressed couldn't name one. The blind devotion to a man who no doubt despises these rednecks and would call the police if they tried to enter Mar A Lago.

This response to the above tweet is the correct response to anyone playing the "election interference" card

It always struck me as a line of argument likely to fail. As the judge said, everyone has a job. Can't simply postpone trials because it's slightly bad timing.

But of course Trump, entirely innocent and has all the evidence to prove it, could ask for an earlier trial to get it all done in 2023.

He won't, because delaying is his main tactic

Yes absolutely Trump did amplify existing divisions. Massively so. And created more with his targeting of the intelligence community by a sitting President first and the the targeting of the Medical/Scientific community during a Pandemic. Not even Nixon created such mistrust in the FBI as Trump did.

There was no depraved response to him being elected. Hillary conceded and from that point onward, people pointed to the involvement of Russian influence in his winning the election, but no one attempted stopping him from assuming the office.

Compare that to the 60 court cases attempting to prevent Biden being made President, the begging of state officials to find votes, the preparation of alternate slate of electors, the statements claiming corruption, fraud, theft etc. And what we all watched live on Jan 6th.

You're not even on the same planet as everyone else if you look at the elections of 2016 and 2020 and point to the former as being the outcome that generated depraved behavior.

As for the continued defense of a sexual abuser, Trump said that he could grab women by their genitals without even asking them, Jean said that he did that to her, a court agreed that he did, and you think that it is more likely that ulterior motives were being the courts assertion. And as with so many other times, you have no evidence to support this only your presumption based on how many people you think dislike Trump.

Do you realize, you have continually stated that people in drag reading books to children is sick and depraved, but you believe someone who said he commits sexual assault is innocent.

This. He announced his campaign after he knew he was caught doing illegal ****.

The judge goes with Trump in that only non-sensitive material cannot be disclosed, but then goes on to categorise a sh1t load of stuff as sensitive.

Following the tweets it would seem like it's going mostly in favour of the DOJ position with a few small modifications.

This is the Government response when asked why they don't want Trump left alone with evidence when Trump lawyers ask if they have to be there 100% of the time.

  • Moderators, Politics Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 16,966 Mod ✭✭✭✭Quin_Dub

    And further.

The entire back and forth is basically the Government saying "Trump is a petulant child and cannot be trusted to follow even the most basic instruction without someone watching over him"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,361 ✭✭✭✭everlast75

    This is true.

He announced his candidacy 10 months before the usual time, i.e. 6 months before the primaries.

Looks like they've decided that Trump can review documents alone , but they must be checked in and checked out to ensure nothing is missing when he does and he is not allowed to have any devices/cameras that might allow him to copy the information in any way.

And any notes he might take must be reviewed and signed off on by a lawyer.

Like I said - Rules for a child that cannot be trusted to behave.

So far you've voiced conspiracy theories that Trump is under federal investigation to damage his political aspirations even though multiple grand juries ended up supporting prosecution. Now you're pushing the conspiracy theory that the man who has multiple allegations of inappropriate behaviour with women, lost his civil case over a sexual assault.

Ya that's not an unbiased perspective, that's somebody you view to be in your corner getting caught for criminal behaviour. Will you also reject the conviction if he is convicted?

On top of this, Trump has a long history of losing/settling civil cases, that's the kind of character you believe is being mistreated.

Good to see further evidence providing corroboration of Mike Godwin's theory about people using woke as a pejorative,, and that one of the most widely known quotes from the Bronn character in GOT is also really accurate.

We've seen the pinnacle of Trump Derangement Syndrome on here the last 24 hours.

Trump: 'You can grab them by the pu**y'

Jean Carroll: ''He grabbed me by the pu**y'

Judge ''He grabbed her by the pu**y'

rapidash_2023 'On Carroll, I do believe there are question marks over the entire case. Hatred for Trump is to such a high level among parts of the US that it wouldn't surprise me in the least if something shady was at play. I can't prove that to be the case but I think it's more likely than not.'

Shocking stuff from you to be honest. Not unexpected, but still shocking.

"Your client's defense is supposed to happen in this courtroom, not on the internet."

Given the amount of self incriminating evidence trump posts online, his legal team should really be seeing the irony slapping them across the back of their heads
