    The Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar made a surprise trip to Ukraine today where he met Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

    The Taoiseach has vowed his country will stand with Kyiv for as long as it takes following talks with the Ukrainian president. 

    As Ireland is militarily neutral, he announced an additional five million euros in humanitarian funding for Ukraine.
